Pit Boss Grills Powers Full Fan Experience Lineup at Wild West Shootout’s 20th Anniversary Celebration
CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (Dec. 23, 2025) — Fans attending the 2026 Wild West Shootout will enjoy more than just world-class racing, as a full slate of off-track entertainment and fan-focused activities will take place throughout the event’s 10-day run. Officials with the Wild West Shootout announced today that Pit Boss Grills has been named the title sponsor of the Pit Boss Grills Fan Experience, which encompasses all non-racing activities during the series’ 20th anniversary celebration.
“Motorsports has long been a powerful platform for Pit Boss — from our involvement across NASCAR and the O-Reilly Auto Parts Series to supporting grassroots racing — and this marks our first partnership with the Wild West Shootout,” said Matt Medden, vice president of marketing for Pit Boss Grills. “At our core, we’re about fueling passion, whether it’s on the track or around the grill, and this event brings those worlds together in a way that truly resonates with fans. We’re proud to power the entire fan experience during the Shootout’s 20th anniversary and help create memories that extend well beyond the racing.”
The Wild West Shootout will once again feature an expanded lineup of non-racing activities designed to create a full-event destination experience for fans, teams and families. The Pit Boss Grills Fan Experience will include two free post-race concerts, barrel racing exhibitions, a memorial golf tournament, pit and tent parties, a cornhole tournament and more.
Two free post-race concerts will take place on the Pit Boss Stage behind the grandstands immediately following racing on Jan. 10, featuring Pryor Baird, and Jan. 17, featuring Clayton Anderson.
Invite-only barrel racing exhibitions will be held Jan. 11, 16 and 17, led by local barrel racer and business owner Felicia Buechle. The exhibitions will take place in the infield during final track preparation, with 10 riders competing each night. Overall 1D, 2D and 3D champions will be crowned Jan. 17 and will receive cash prizes, custom Wild West Shootout trophies and championship buckles.
The Bailey Schweitzer Memorial Golf Tournament is scheduled for Jan. 12, with additional details to be announced.
An annual Wild West Shootout tradition, the After Practice Pit Party will return Tuesday, Jan. 13, providing a meal for racers, teams, staff, campers and fans, with catering provided by the converted ladder fire truck.
Additional fan events include the Almost Famous Tent Party on Jan. 16 and the Cornhole Tournament with Beaver Stripes on Jan. 17. Winners of the cornhole tournament will receive custom Wild West Shootout cornhole boards courtesy of Pit Boss Grills and Beaver Stripes.
“We have always worked hard to make this event more than just a race — we want it to be a racing vacation,” Wild West Shootout promoter Jason Babyak said. “We’re always looking for ways to add off-track activities that everyone in attendance can enjoy, and having an amazing company like Pit Boss come on board to sponsor the entire fan experience was a perfect fit. I’m excited to work with Matt and his team.”
The 2026 Wild West Shootout runs Jan. 10, 11, 14, 16, 17 and 18, featuring six nights of racing for Super Late Models, Modifieds and X-Mods. A star-studded Super Late Model roster is already committed, including former Wild West Shootout champions Bobby Pierce, Jonathan Davenport and Brandon Sheppard, along with national touring standouts Ricky Thornton Jr., Hudson O’Neal, Tyler Erb, Ethan Dotson, Brandon Overton, Mike Marlar, Ryan Gustin, Garrett Alberson and many more.
