Dirt Pro Contracting Western Wrap Contest Returns to Wild West Shootout
Best Western-Themed Wrap & Most Creative Social Media Reveal Video Earn Extra Cash during January’s event at Central Arizona Raceway
CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (Nov. 29, 2025) — When the Wild West Shootout celebrates its 20th anniversary this January, the biggest names in Dirt Late Model won’t just be chasing trophies, they’ll also be showing off their best western-themed wraps for a shot at extra cash and bragging rights.
Officials with the Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts have announced the return of the Dirt Pro Contracting Western Wrap Contest, which will award cash prizes and bragging rights to the best western-themed graphics schemes across all three divisions during the event’s 20th anniversary being held this January at FK Rod Ends Central Arizona Raceway presented by Low Voltage Solutions.
Sponsored by longtime event supporters Steve and Paula Stultz of Dirt Pro Contracting, the contest will award:
- $1,000 for the best western-themed wrap in the Black Diamond Race Cars Super Late Model division presented by Malvern Bank
- $750 for the best in the Mesilla Valley Transportation Modified division
- $500 for the top design in the Shocker Hitch X-Mod division presented by Border Tire
This year’s contest also includes a new social media component for Super Late Model competitors, with the Top Notch Video Award giving an additional $500 to the Super Late Model race team that produces the most creative social media video to reveal their western-themed wrap on social media. Race teams and wrap designers are encouraged to show off their creativity online before the event, tagging Wild West Shootout for a chance at the extra prize money and online recognition.
The contest is made possible by longtime event supporters Steve and Paula Stultz and their team at Dirt Pro Contracting, an Arizona-based company that specializes in grading and padwork for commercial and residential builds, along with trucking services, masonry debris pickup, demolition, material delivery, and de-weeding for fire prevention.
“Steve and Paula are not just racers and sponsors, they’re good friends of ours, and we’re thankful to have their support,” said Wild West Shootout co-promoter Chris Kearns. “They are just great people. And the wrap contest is one of the coolest additions to the event. I’m really hoping to see some creative western-themed wraps. They can be Arizona-themed, old west-themed, or just Wild West Shootout-themed. I’m excited to see what the designers at the wrap companies can come up with to showcase their abilities.”
In addition to the cash awards, the best designs will earn bragging rights for the wrap company who made them, with added notoriety coming from exposure on FloRacing, which will again stream every lap of the Wild West Shootout in 2026.
The 2026 Wild West Shootout runs January 10, 11, 14, 16, 17 & 18 and features six complete programs for Super Late Models, Modifieds, and X-Mods, all taking place at FK Rod Ends Central Arizona Raceway presented by Low Voltage Solutions, Inc. The event returns to its roots in Casa Grande for the first time in over a decade to celebrate its 20th running.
