(Oct. 29, 2020) — Staunch racing supporters, Shaw Trucking and Premier Waste Services, are stepping up to the plate to provide a historic finale payout for the Dirt Track Bank Super Late Models presented by Black Diamond Race Cars at the 15th annual Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts. The 2021 edition of the Shaw Trucking 50 presented by Premier Waste Services at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway will boast a whopping $25,000 top prize, which is a $10,000 increase over the $15,000 winner’s check in 2020. The event posts a $1,000 reward just to take the green flag in the 50-lap feature, and the total payout for the January 17 finale soars to over $65,000.

“Wow and thank you are the first words that came to mind, when I found out that Premier Waste Services wanted to infuse additional money into the Wild West Shootout finale. Don Shaw at Shaw Trucking continues to go the extra mile every year to help us grow the event, and now with the added support from Larry and Jeni Henk at Premier Waste Services, we are able to take the event to a whole new level,” event promoter Chris Kearns shared. “With the added money, we were able to not only add $10,000 to the winner’s check, but we have also sprinkled $10,000 throughout the purse to further bolster what was already a solid finale.”

“Again, I just can’t say enough about the amazing support we receive from our incredible sponsors. Every time I think they can’t possibly increase their support, they do. For that, I say thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I hope that all of the racers will make a point to thank and support these awesome sponsors, whenever they possibly can.”

The Shaw Trucking 50 presented by Premier Waste Services payout for 2021 will be as follows:

1)$25,000 2)$10,000 3)$5,000 4)$3,000 5)$2,000 6)$1,500 7)$1,250 8)$1,200 9)$1,100 10-24)$1,000

With the Wild West Shootout offering five features paying $5,000 to win and now a $25,000-to-win finale, a driver able to pull off the feat of sweeping the miniseries would depart Arizona with over $303,000 in earnings including the Keyser Quarter-Million Challenge bonus as well the $3,000 champion’s check.

When the Dirt Track Bank Super Late Models presented by Black Diamond Race Cars teams assemble at the third-mile oval outside Phoenix for six nights of racing Jan. 9-17, 2021, a checkered-flag sweep of the miniseries by one driver will for the fifth consecutive year be worth a blockbuster $250,000 bonus. In addition, winning five of six features will earn a racer an extra $100,000; capturing four A-mains offers a $25,000 prize; and being the first driver to top three headliners will provide a $10,000 check.

Don Shaw founded Shaw Trucking in 1983.
