2026 Wild West Shootout Rules
MANDATORY MUFFLERS REQUIRED FOR ALL DIVISIONS*
Schoenfeld Part # 112530, 112535, 113035 and 14272735-78 are the ONLY mufflers allowed to be used on Late Models at the WWS at ALL TIMES. Cars failing to comply will face severe penalties up to and including race and/or event disqualification.
Modifieds / X-Mods MUST run a muffler at all times which is 95 dB or less at 100 feet. NO INSERTS – MUST BE A FULL AND COMPLETE MUFFLER. Having mufflers on does not automatically mean you are legal; they must meet dB requirements.
Super Late Model
TIRES
- LF, LR and RF: Hoosier NLMT 2, NLMT 3 (No 29.0 / 92.0 allowed on front tires or left rear tire)
- RR: Hoosier NLMT 3 or NLMT 4
- The Hoosier W30 (exactly the same tire as the NLMT 3) can be used, but it will not be available for purchase at the track.
- Grooving and siping will be allowed.
- No chemical alterations or treatments – tire sampling in effect.
BODY / SUSPENSION / WEIGHT
- Droop rule in place for 2026: 51" max measured 6 inches in-board of the left rear t-bar with the left rear tire ONLY off the ground.
- Up to 1/2" over: 4-position penalty
- Over 1/2" up to 1": 8-position penalty
- Over 1": last place
- Chain limiter required with maximum of one 1" puck.
- All other suspension rules as per the 2025 DirtCar or Lucas Oil Rulebook.
- No internal bumps or springs on LR shock.
- All other Body and suspension rules: 2025 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series / WoOLMS
- WEIGHT: *2300 lb minimum* anytime
- SPOILER: *8"*
- No Data Acquisition or traction control devices
Modifieds
You must be 100% legal within the 2025 USRA Modified Rules. The IMCA-stamped Hoosier G60’s are an optional tire on all four corners. IMCA cars can use their plastic noses.
X-Mods
Must declare rules package and be 100% compliant with the package you declare, with the following exception: A, B, C & D rules packages must run American Racer KK704 or Hoosier IMCA Stamped G60.
A: USRA B-Mod racers – must be 100% legal within the 2025 USRA B-Mod rules

B: WISSOTA Midwest Modified racers – you must be 100% legal within the 2025 WISSOTA Midwest Modified rules

New for 2026 — All Vado X Mods must remove spoiler and weigh 100 lb over required weights in Vado Speedway X Mod rules.
