Pro Power Racing Dashes Post Added Cash at Upcoming Wild West Shootout

SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. (Dec. 28, 2020) — Wisconsin-based Pro Power Racing Engines is once again adding extra cash to three Dirt Track Bank Super Late Model programs presented by Black Diamond Race Cars during the upcoming 15th annual Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts.

On January 9, 10, and 16 drivers, who finish just outside of a transfer spot in Dirt Track Bank Super Late Model B-main action at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway, will get a chance at redemption. Each of the three nights, the first 10 non-transfer drivers will take part in the 10-lap Pro Power Racing Dash.

Each dash posts a $2,000 purse with the winner receiving $1,000 or the option to forfeit the winner’s purse and start at the tail of the night’s feature.

“Bill and Josie Schlieper are two of our biggest supporters. With the money they add to the event, it not only gives racers a chance to make some extra cash on an otherwise challenging night, but it also gives one racer the chance to keep racing if they elect to forfeit their Dash win and start on the tail of the feature,” event director Ben Shelton noted. “Additionally, it’s an asset to racers in all divisions to have Bill onsite throughout the event. More than once, I’ve seen him helping drivers in all divisions with their engines, even though they might not be a client of his.”

Located in Sullivan, Wisconsin Pro Power Racing Engines builds race-winning and championship-winning powerplants for a wide variety of motorsports divisions. From the dirt track to the paved track to off-road racing, the company has clients across North America.

Tickets are priced at $25 per night for adults and $10 for kids ages 6-12 with children 5-and-under admitted free of charge.

An adult six-day general admission combo ticket is also available for $150 and includes a pit-pass upgrade for one night as chosen by the purchaser as well as a free Wild West Shootout seat cushion. Six-day passes can be purchased in advance at or at the track on January 9’s opening night of the Wild West Shootout.

The 2021 Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts will pay out over $255,000 in purses over six nights of Super Late Model, Modified and X-Mod racing. Tripleheaders are set for Jan. 9, 10, 13, 15, 16 and 17 at the 3/8-mile oval located just outside of Phoenix.

Each night finds the Dirt Track Bank Super Late Models presented by Black Diamond Race Cars, Mesilla Valley Transportation/ Border Tire Modifieds presented by Arizona Differential, and X-Mods presented by Barnett Harley Davidson contesting complete programs.

Additionally, an open practice session is slated for both January 8 and January 12.
